Failing eyesight

hallo again, i know that it has been a while since i last blogged but i hope that from the recent visit to my friend's blog it will give me a nudge and inspiration for me to continue with my own blog .. 

anyhow, i'd like to tell you about my failing eyesight, read it in my friend's blog about the same entry and i have my own share of being blur which is very irritating at times .. 

my degree on both eyes are considered quite high, for my contact lense on my left eye, i am wearing a -7 lense and on my right eye, my lense degree is -4.5 but they are not as clear as i hope it to be but the strange thing  is my optician here in Holland tells me that that is the highest degree they can offer me as they have no more higher degrees while in Malaysia one is able to get lenses which are higher degrees from the ones i have. i think eventually i will be wearing my spectacles more permanently and that i will have to give up my contact lenses altogether. I have been wearing contact lenses for almost 20 years that i am still not so used to the idea of wearing spectacles 24/7, 365 days., and the fact is that I still prefer driving with my contact lenses on. 

anyhow, i just got a new pair of spectacles with reading part which i still don't get as i don't feel the difference between my last spectacles and this new one. but i must admit this new spectacles is much more clearer, haha, i must be confusing you with what i am saying cause i myself wonder what am i talking about .. 

well hopefully in time i will be able to accept that my eyes will be better off with spectacles 24/7, 365 days .. or at least i should admit that my eyes r getting older :)
