By the way it's a back dated post, so while driving home one day, Tonnie took these pictures, I wonder how he managed to take them while driving but he did......luckily no police was around or else he would have gotten a fine that says, picture taking while driving...that would be a laugh....

Rio Carnival in Arnhem

Two days ago, while waiting for Tonnie to arrive from his work, me and the girls went to MIL's apartment to wait for him, while waiting, MIL came downstairs to accompany us and she mentioned that on Saturday there was going to be a Brazilian Carnival Procession in town so just now in the afternoon we were one of the many spectators witnessing the carnival procession, it was fun and colourful and below are some pictures of the procession...Carnival procession is quite a big event here in Holland and normally this month is the beginning of these kind of processions and it will continue till just before Lent starts next year. By the way, the pictures were taken with my handphone, I didn't expect the result was quite satisfactory as both Tonnie and I forgot to bring any of our camera's along.....

Sighting of the Moon

A fellow blogger asked me to take some snap shots of the moon to see if there is anything orbiting round the moon as the pictures she took shows that there was a green round 'object' orbiting round her moon, hehehehe.....Took a few pictures of the moon a few nights ago and it was quite small and not clear compared to anything of my friend's moon shots, tried my luck again tonight, went down to the field to catch the best sight of the moon but still my moon pictures are nothing compared to my friends, nevertheless I will still be uploading it.....once again please don't laugh at my moon ok, hehehhehe

Short break

Last weekend, 3rd August, my family and I went to Schwandorf, Germany to visit Luth and family, we stayed with familie Sturm for 2 days from 3rd - 5th August.

Then on 5th August we drove to Jenbach, Austria to visit MaryAnn and family, we stayed with the Supper family for 2 days as well....

We had such good times being with both families....the children enjoyed themselves as well., except that Nicole started to have fever on 6th August late in the afternoon and it continued till the next day 7th August., we thought of driving straight home from Luth's on 7th August but Luth suggested to us to stay another night so we did. On 8th August, both my family and Luth's family left Schwandorf, our destinations were to Giesbeek and Lugano.......

Thank you family Sturm and family Supper for having us....we had so much fun and hopefully one of these days we can do it again, meeting up and enjoying ourselves together......

A day at the beach

Last Monday afternoon, we went to the man made beach near our place, the girls had lots of fun and I had a lovely time relaxing as well while Tonnie entertained them.....Our neighbour was also at the beach sailing so Tonnie and the girls joined them....Samantha had so much fun that she was swimming behind the boat on a float......
